Howdy y'all and welcome to Waco, Texas! Planning a trip can be very stressful. So put on your cowgirl boots and cowgirl hat and get to planning! Here are the top 5 things to do in Waco, Texas!
1. The Silos
The silos are a fun place to chill with the family! You have the Magnolia Market, the Silos Bakery, the Seed and Garden Supply, and many picnic tables to relax with a cold sweet tea!
2. Magnolia Table
The Magnolia Table is the restaurant Chip and Joanna opened. It is so beautiful and has amazing food! I would recommend eating a light snack before you go because we waited around 2 hours and 20 minutes!!!
3. Clint Harp and Jimmy Don's places
If you watch the show "Fixer Upper" you would already know these names but if you don't let me tell you! Clint Harp makes wooden things for Chip and Joanna and Jimmy Don makes metal signs for them. You can visit both of their work shops and stores!
4. Fixer Upper Houses
Since you are in Waco, you might as well go look at the houses Chip and Joanna fixed up! These are some of the houses we saw! We even got to stay in the Shotgun House! It was amazing!
5. Downtown Waco
If you have a free afternoon, take a stroll down downtown Waco. There are cute little shops to browse through and the historic Waco Suspension Bridge to walk over!
